ELECTED SERVICE
VOLUNTEER SERVICE
Volunteer Firefighter
I serve as a volunteer firefighter in Paramus, responding to emergencies and supporting the department’s public safety mission. This role has reinforced how much local safety depends on preparation, teamwork, and people who are willing to step up when the community needs help.
Volunteering in this capacity has shaped how I think about municipal support for first responders, volunteer recruitment, and the importance of making sure local departments have the resources they need to operate safely and effectively.
Auxiliary Police Officer
I previously served with the Paramus Auxiliary Police, supporting community events and public safety operations. That experience helped ground my understanding of how visible, approachable public safety presence builds trust and reinforces community safety at the local level.
Special Law Enforcement Officer
I serve as a Special Law Enforcement Officer in Paramus in an appointed capacity, supporting local law enforcement operations and community safety efforts. This role has given me firsthand exposure to the realities of public safety work at the municipal level, including the importance of training, clear procedures, and professional standards.
The experience has shaped how I think about local governance and public safety policy, particularly the need for practical support for officers, transparency in how departments operate, and accountability to the community.
PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICE
Across elected office, volunteer service, and appointed public safety roles, my approach is consistent: to show up, take responsibility seriously, and focus on the practical work that helps communities function.
